A Different Direction
Anyone expecting Divinity Original Sin 3, prepare for a surprise. The studio stated ahead of time that a direct sequel to its venerated RPGs is not currently in development.

The Legacy of Divinity
The Divinity series is highly rated and arguably it kicked off the modern wave of complex computer role-playing games. These games are celebrated for detailed worlds, branching plots, and deep class systems—elements that later reached new heights in games like Baldur's Gate 3.
While its setting is classic fantasy, what makes Divinity apart is the unprecedented level of trust given to the player.
While numerous modern RPGs have streamlined options, Divinity is brimming with specialized paths that are viable if you're playing as a particular class or origin with a specific history of choices.
The series is also wonderfully open-ended, letting players to find creative solutions throughout the entire experience. Nearly every quest can be approached in diverse methods, sometimes in unexpected fashion.

- Or, you could bypass a challenge by using the world itself in a clever way.
